Sometimes it is the sound you want, not the video — a track you are planning to use in your own edit, a voiceover you want to study, or an audio clip you want on your phone for offline listening.
TikTok has no export button for audio, but you can pull the sound out of any public video as an MP3 in a few seconds. The steps are the same on a phone and a computer.

Find any video using the sound, tap Share, then Copy link. The sound page itself does not give a usable link, so start from a video.

Start from a video, not the sound page
TikTok gives every sound its own page listing the videos that use it, and it is tempting to copy that address. It will not work — a sound page is a listing, not a media file, so there is nothing there to extract.
Instead, tap into any video that uses the sound and copy that video's link. The audio you get is the same track, taken from the video's own soundtrack.
What quality the MP3 comes out at
The MP3 matches the audio in the source video, which for TikTok is typically around 128kbps. That is perfectly fine for listening, for rough edit drafts, and for reference — but it is not a mastered release, and it will not sound like a studio file from a streaming service.
If the sound is a commercially released song, the right way to use it properly in your own project is to license it or pull it from a music library. The MP3 is best treated as a working copy.
